The Blessed One Confesses
Psalm 32
3 When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through
my groaning all the day long. 4 For day and
night Your hand was heavy upon me My vitality
was turned into the drought of summer. Selah 5 I
acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I
have not hidden. I said, "I will confess my
transgressions to the LORD," And You forgave the
iniquity of my sin. Selah
8
9 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am in
trouble My eye wastes away with grief, Yes, my
soul and my body! 10 For my life is spent with
grief, And my years with sighing My strength
fails because of my iniquity, And my bones waste
away. 11 I am a reproach among all my enemies,
But especially among my neighbors, And am
repulsive to my acquaintances Those who see me
outside flee from me. 12 I am forgotten like a
dead man, out of mind I am like a broken
vessel. 13 For I hear the slander of many Fear
is on every side While they take counsel
together against me, They scheme to take away my
life. (Psalm 319-13, NKJV)

1 ltltA Psalm of David. To bring to remembrance.gtgt
O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, Nor
chasten me in Your hot displeasure! 2 For Your
arrows pierce me deeply, And Your hand presses me
down. 3 There is no soundness in my flesh
Because of Your anger, Nor any health in my bones
Because of my sin. 4 For my iniquities have gone
over my head Like a heavy burden they are too
heavy for me. 5 My wounds are foul and festering
Because of my foolishness. (Psalm 381-5, NKJV)
10
6 I am troubled, I am bowed down greatly I go
mourning all the day long. 7 For my loins are
full of inflammation, And there is no soundness
in my flesh. 8 I am feeble and severely broken
I groan because of the turmoil of my heart. 9
Lord, all my desire is before You And my sighing
is not hidden from You. 10 My heart pants, my
strength fails me As for the light of my eyes,
it also has gone from me. 11 My loved ones and
my friends stand aloof from my plague, And my
relatives stand afar off. (Psalm 386-11, NKJV)

The Blessed One Instructs Others
Psalm 32
6 For this cause everyone who is godly shall
pray to You In a time when You may be found
Surely in a flood of great waters They shall not
come near him. 7 You are my hiding place You
shall preserve me from trouble You shall
surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah 8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you
should go I will guide you with My eye. 9 Do
not be like the horse or like the mule, Which
have no understanding, Which must be harnessed
with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near
you.
(NKJV)

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And
uphold me by Your generous Spirit. 13 Then I will
teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall
be converted to You (Psalm 5112-13, NKJV) but
has in due time manifested His word through
preaching, which was committed to me according to
the commandment of God our Savior (Titus 13,
NKJV) For since, in the wisdom of God, the
world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased
God through the foolishness of the message
preached to save those who believe (1
Corinthians 121, NKJV)

heart!

WHO DO YOU TRUST?
23
Some Trust
  • in political powers
  • Isaiah 366, Look! You are trusting in the
staff of this broken reed, Egypt, on which if a
man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce
it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust
    in him.

24
Some Trust
  • in political powers
  • in the proud and in lies
  • Psalm 404, Blessed is that man who makes the
LORD his trust, And does not respect the proud,
nor such as turn aside to lies.
  • the papacy/false religion
  • evolution
  • lovers of sin
  • Psalm 1463, Do not put your trust in princes,
Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

25
Some Trust
  • in political powers
  • in the proud and in lies
  • in themselves
  • Lu 189, Also He spoke this parable to some who
trusted in themselves that they were righteous,
    and despised others
  • Lu 1615, And He said to them, "You are those
who justify yourselves before men, but God knows
your hearts. For what is highly esteemed among
men is an abomination in the sight of God.

26
There is a generation that is pure in its own
eyes, Yet is not washed from its
filthiness Proverbs 3012, NKJV
He who believes and is baptized will be saved
but he who does not believe will be condemned
(Mk. 1616, NKJV)
