- During this session we will discuss how to create
a new account and log-in to RamTrak, search for
job postings, and upload your resume.

- RamTRAK is the Office of Career Services online
resource for information regarding - On-Campus Interviews
- Employer/Career Spotlight Presentations
- Part-time jobs, and
- Work-study jobs
3Creating an Account
- If this is your first time using RamTRAK, you
must first create an account. - Create an account by selecting the First Time
User link. - Follow the instructions provided by the system,
starting with entering an email address that you
wish to have associated with RamTRAK. - This should be an email account that you use
regularly and is not likely to change or be
suspended.

- You must complete the entire profile section.

- The following screens show the processes involved
in creating your account. - The items in RED are required and must be
completed to continue the registration process.

- This is where you will create a username and
password. - We recommend using the same format as your
university email account
7First Time User (contd)
- After you have completed your profile, you will
be ready to upload your resume, search for job
postings, or sign-up for on-campus events
sponsored by the Office of Career Services - Select Job Search Services or Post or Update
Resume
8Future Log-ins
- Once your account has been created, the next time
you log in, you will will simply enter the
username and password that you created earlier on
the Career Services RamTRAK Returning Users
portal.

- This section will guide you through uploading
your resume and searching for job postings.

- Select the Resume tab to upload your critiqued
resume. - RamTRAK provides space for up to 10 resumes.
- You may also upload cover letters and
transcripts.

Select the document you wish to upload Resumes,
Cover Letters, or Transcripts

- Locate your resume on your computer or floppy
disk, and click open. - Once the path to your resume appears in section
3, you may then click UPLOAD RESUME. - The system will show you a preview of your
resume. Select SAVE RESUME.

- search status then
- click on UPDATE
- YOUR STATUS.

- There are several links to the job search
feature. - You may select the JOBS tab in the menu, SEARCH
JOBS, or JOBS INTERNSHIPS.

- To search for jobs and internships,
- select a search criteria such as Job
- Listing Date, Job Type, Job Location,
- Category, or Keywords then
- click SEARCH at the bottom of the
- page
- Do not select all categories and
- careful not to be too specific, the
- system may not include all jobs posted
- We DO NOT recommend selecting too
- many search options, this may limit
- your results.
- Career Services suggests that when
- searching for jobs available, simply
- select the state in which you are
- interested in working. Part-time

- Once the results of your search appear,
- you may click on a job title to read the
description of the position.

- Some employers will allow you to apply online.
- You will need a resume in the system to apply
online. - Follow the link to Apply Online.
