NexGen JTIMS

• Topic NexGen JTIMS Development
• Status - IOC 17 JAN 06 user validated System
  of record effetive 1 Feb 06.
• - NexGen JTIMS Sprial 3 release May 06 Spiral
  4 release September 06.
• Issues 1. Lexicon disconnects between JTIMS and
  DRRS. JTIMS uses JP 1.02, DRRS does not. 2.
  DRRS allows for tailorable UJTL task name, JTIMS
  does not.
• 3. Program Transfer to USJFCOM JWFC
• Impact 1- 2. Very confusing to users of both
  systems. Could hinder readiness reporting
  process
• 3. Minimal impact. JS J-7 will maintain
  oversight of JTIMS and JWFC will provide
  day-to-day
• management. All JTIMS
  stakeholders will have same level of
  participation in development
• and configuration
  management

• - JS J-7 engage with OSD PR regarding policy
  on lexicon and UJTL.
