3Document Camera
Newer Document Cameras have an AWB button.
This is an Auto White Balance button that can
sometimes improve text display quality.
4Doc Camera Connections
VGA Out- Sends camera source image to the
Hitachi Projector. VGA In- could be the cable
from your Computer, which would require you to
always have your Doc Camera On and use the source
button to switch from Camera view to PC view. (If
you have an older projector this is your only
connection option.

- Focus Dial Located on top of goose neck
- Extend /or Pivot adjustable arm
- Hit AWB Button (Auto White Balance)
- Turn on or off Camera Lights
- Use anti-glare sheet (located in storage bag)
6VGA CablesInput-Output Video
Both your Projector, and your Document Camera
came with 3-4 VGA Cables. Check your storage
bags for these cables. If you require a longer
cable, we have some 25 50 cables in the
library, as well as other 3 cables in Room 301.

If you have an older projector an adapter can be
bought from Radio Shack that allow you to use the
above cable plugged directly into your speaker
cabling. (Female-Female) 3.5mm adapter.

12Turning Off YourTechnology
- Projectors
- Push Top On/Standby button twice, or hold for
older projectors. - Allow fan to continue to run cooling the hot
bulb. - DO NOT turn the side switch to off while the fan
is running. In most cases, it is OK to Power
down using only the top button.
13Turning Off YourTechnology
- Document Cameras
- IF your computer is connected through your
document camera, it is OK to leave it on. This
allows the computer to detect the 2nd output
connection to the projector. - It is suggested that you turn the document
camera lamp off at the end of each use. (Top of
