Issues for Board Consideration

• Approve the composition of the District A Board
• Define the recommended interaction between Center
  delegates and their constituent groups.
• Define expected support from the Technical
  Community representatives
• Detail expanded ASME staff support activity

• Support a program of Section/Student Section
  visitation every other year team of a Center
  Delegate plus ASME staff
• Request sufficient funds to support the
  visitation program

• 4. Recommend that the District Leader be
  elevated to the position of ASME Vice President,
  in consideration of the duties of the office
• 5. For leadership development, several Operating
  Board members should be elected to ASME national
  committees and boards.

• A strategy is needed for obtaining local
  corporate support for sections check out ASM,
  ASCE, etc.
• Distinguished Lecture Program sections need
  quality, high, profile speakers
