First Ride Safe Ride!!!

• AIMS-
• The overall aim is to ensure babys first ride
  will be a safe ride
• Identified a need to offer families who dont
  have a car or who would be unable to afford the
  outlay for a car seat, an opportunity to borrow a
  car seat for their babys first ride home

Developing Our Commitment

• Facilitating this new practice initiative
• Developed links with the Council
• In Car Safety Officer
• Provision of car seat safety video
• Summary of Law documentation
• Discussed the most appropriate type of baby seat
  to be used secured resources
• Drafted criteria for personnel involved in the
  transport of babies in car seats
