Game Overview
Evil, rotten vegetables have seized control of
our hero Johns kitchen!!! Help John recover all
of his beloved domestic appliances from the
clutches of the nefarious vegetables.

  • Evil vegetables the tracker will move vegetables
    horizontally, blocking the magical appliance
    chamber
  • Spatula the player will be able to move the
    spatula (shooter) left and right
  • Magical Appliance Chamber (MAC) will move slowly
    left and right

  • Collisions
  • Spatula/Vegetables if the player accidentally
    hits a vegetable with a spatula, rotting odors
    will emit and life points will be subtracted
  • Spatula/MAC if the player successfully collides
    the spatula into the MAC, he/she wins the level
    and regains one of Johns treasured appliances

  • Scoring
  • No numerical score the point is to recover
    appliances, not to get rich
  • Cooking points - hitting vegetables loses you
    some cooking points. Zero cooking points means
    youre dead. Or just that you lost.
  • Time - once time limit is reached, John dies. I
    mean, John doesnt get his appliances back. And
    hes sad. Because you failed.

  • Levels
  • Each level is completed upon successfully hitting
    the MAC with a spatula, earning you that levels
    secret appliance.
  • Subsequent levels will increase in difficulty
    more rows of vegetables, faster vegetables, less
    time

  • Splash Screens
  • Initial splash representing our hero
  • Upon completion of each level, a splash screen
    will show the appliance you have recovered
    (toaster, blender, et al)
  • Once the game is won, you get a splash screen
    showing a happy John
  • Once the game is lost, you get a splash screen
    showing an unhappy John

Basic Game
  • Listen to us speak.

Enhancements, possibly?
  • Chicken! (magical)
  • Occasionally appears in vegetable rows. If you
    hit it you get 100 extra cooking points (like
    getting an extra life)
  • Prize display
  • Recovered appliances appear in the prize display
    window
  • More levels?
  • Music!!!
  • Will will compose original music and sound
    effects!
