• Aerosol cans contain propellants that are made
  up of combustible gases. In order to ensure that
  the cans are safe for recycling or disposal, any
  resident aerosol must be removed. This is
  accomplished by placing the cans on a conveyor
  belt which feeds them into a cutting machine
  which removes the residual propellant.
• Due to the possible presence of elements that
  could contaminate a catalytic bead sensor, the
  Model IR2100 Infrared Point Detectors is best
  suited for this type of application.
