2Origins
- Emerged from 1999 energy restructuring
legislation (SB 1149) - Funded by public purpose funds collected from
Oregon customers of Pacific Power, Portland
General Electric and NW Natural - Mandate from the Oregon Public Utility Commission
sparked creation of Energy Trust as a nonprofit
organization - Began work in March 2002

52004 Accomplishments
- In 2004, Energy Trust programs
- Helped nearly 29,000 Oregon homes and businesses
save energy and money - Saved and generated enough electricity to power
17,000 homes - Saved enough natural gas energy to fuel over
1,000 gas-heated homes - Offset 11,000 tons of pollution generated by
conventional fuels

territory, or able to deliver to those utilities
