Why Outdoor Advertising?
  • Out-of-home advertising is the oldest and the
    most popular form of promotion that is grounded
    on the visual demonstration of the content and
    guarantees high frequency of contacts with the
    advertising effort. Outdoor advertising uses
    popular symbols and simple messages that
    facilitate brand recall and recognition. Outdoor
    advertising is on twenty-four hours a day, seven
    days a week, and it is never switched off. Its
    features include permanent visibility. It
    guarantees a direct, hard to pass over, repeated
    contact of the viewer with the advertising
    message. Media day is the total time spent on
    media consumption during a day. People spend
    almost their whole conscious life surrounded by
    media. Outdoor advertising has a large, 20 share
    in the media day. Television is expensive. OOH
    improves the efficiency of a television campaign
    buy by driving down CPM costs. OOH reaches light
    TV viewers who are younger, mobile, and more
    affluent than heavy TV viewers.
