• 1. FPG (fasting plasma glucose test)
• Patients must fast for 8 hrs.
• Blood glucose range
• Pre-diabetes 100-125 mg/dl
• Diabetes 126 mg/dl or above

• 2. OGTT(oral glucose tolerance test)
• Blood glucose levels are measured to see the body
  reaction
• Blood glucose range
• Pre diabetes 140-199 mg/dl
• Diabetes 200 mg/dl or above

• 3. HbA1c ( glycated haemoglobin test)
• It monitors blood sugar level over the past 2-3
  months
• If glucose levels have been high over recent
  weeks, the HbA1c test will be higher

• Normal 4-5.6
