Title: The drive-thru was invented by who

1
The drive-thru was invented by who?
2
  • A few years prior to Ray opening his first
    McDonald's, drive-thru system  windows had
already been invented. In-N-Out Burger founders
Harry and Esther Snyder constructed the first
    drive-through restaurant in 1948.

3
How do drive-thru operate?
  • Typically, a drive-through consists of a building
that has a driveway encircling it. Drivers make
orders at either a first window or a microphone
box before driving around to the opposite side of
the building, where the food is delivered and the
    consumer can pay.

4
The drive-through was created when?
  • The first drive-through (which wasn't a
McDonald's) opened its doors in 1947. Carhop
    service for drive-up eateries providing
hamburgers and other fast-ish cuisine was
widespread by the time of World War II. The first
drive-thru, however, supposedly debuted at Red's
Giant Hamburg on Route 66 in Springfield,
    Missouri, in 1947.

5
Why force you to backup at drive-through?
  • If a Burger King or other fast-food drive-through
staff ever requests that you back up before
moving forward, they are probably trying to reset
the timed sensors to make it look as though you
are receiving service more quickly. The Selfish
Mom blog's author, Amy Oztan, made the
    revelation.

6
What is background music?
  • Background music that is frequently produced and
meant to provide a calming atmosphere, typically
played over loudspeaker systems in public spaces
like restaurants or train stations. Customusic
created expressly to enhance and accompany a
visual output, such as a movie

Which POS system does McD's employ?
  • Which Point of Sale System Does McDonald's Use?
Currently, McDonald's employs a variation of the
NewPOS EPOS system, which was originally created
by the Savista point-of-sale solution firm but is
    currently made by Torex.

9
Drive-thru service is what kind of service?
  • delivery service
  • A form of take-out service offered by a business
that enables consumers to buy things without
leaving their cars is known as a drive-through or
drive-thru (a spectacular spelling of the word
    through).

10
The busiest drive-through is, where?
  • Fox Business Flash is among the top news items
    from October 26.
  • They discovered that Burger King has surpassed
all competitors as the most frequented drive-thru
thus far in 2021, claiming the distinction in the
states of Colorado, Connecticut, Missouri, North
Carolina, Utah, and Hawaii over the previous 12
    months.

11
What good is a drive-through?
  • 1) Customers find drive-thru convenient
  • Customers don't need to get out of their
automobiles to place an order, pay for it, or
receive it. Furthermore, this technique is quite
quick. Customers spend an average of 255 seconds
in the drive-thru line, according to a QSR
    Magazine research.
