Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM)

• Purpose
• to monitor the progress of students more
  frequently than at the three major Assessment
  Periods.

Ongoing Progress Monitoring (3-12)

• Computer-based Mazes (3-12) available via the
  Web-Based Assessment Module (WAM)
• Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM) of Reading
  Comprehension will also be available for grades
  3-12, most likely be provided by FCRR by Fall
  2009.
• appropriate for a broader range of students
  including some students in the high success
  zones.

Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM) Maze (Grades
3-12)

• May be appropriate for students receiving reading
  intervention with a goal of increased reading
  efficiency OR for students who scored below 30th
  percentile on the Maze task
• available online via the Web-Based Assessment
  Module (WAM)
• Ongoing Progress Monitoring (OPM) should take
  place no more frequently than every 20
  instructional days.
