- Install the Bluetooth software from the CD. (If
software from a previous Bluetooth device such as
an iWrite Pad is already installed, skip to Step
3.) - Attach the Bluetooth adapter to a USB port and
use the found new hardware wizard to guide the
installation. - Create a new folder on the desktop, i.e.
Bluetooth Info (right-click gt new gt folder gt
Bluetooth Info). - Right-click on the Bluetooth icon in the task bar
(lower right corner of screen).

36. In the General tab, give your computer a
name. This is the name students will see when
they Bluetooth files to your computer.

shown.

Transfer then Properties.

shown. Browse to the desktop Bluetooth Info file
you created earlier. Click Apply OK.

Client Applications tab as below. Choose
Properties if you need to change the Secure
Connection to Not Required.

Yes. If Allow Wakeups is listed, always set this
to No to save battery power. - Students may send files from up to 30 from your
computer. When sending MS Office documents, they
must send them in Native format.

students, it is easiest to send the file from a
handheld rather than from a computer.
