Overall SPUTNIC conclusions

• Improve the cost effectiveness of PT systems
  investment and operation
• Increase the attractiveness of PT system for
  existing passengers and potential new customers
• Multimodal, integrated and seamless PT is
  necessary to develop sustainable urban transport
  systems
• Infrastructure needs to be carefully planned and
  prioritised to optimise transport chains and the
  overall transport network
• Long-term management, maintenance, upgrading and
  repair of both vehicles and infrastructure.
• Raise the awareness of and the commitment to PT
