• WP 4 Decision support system (DSS) for source
  control of priority substances
• Objective
• The objective is to develop a Decision Support
  System (DSS), including supporting tools for
  management of PSs in order to asses the
  effectiveness and (secondary) impacts of various
  measures (technological and management options)
  or combinations of measures and to come to the
  right selection.

• Consultation structure with other stakeholders
• Cost-effectiveness is not the only criterion
• WFD-Guider and other instruments
• Why no sophisticated tool ??

• Cost of Industrial measures are very important
  but hard to get
• Attention for risk assessment is asked
• Overview of Legal framework, both EU and national
• Set up a training program for users of the DSS
• Need for indicators of monitoring the effect of
  measures
• End 2007 new set of data available
• Depending on the developments more base line
  scenarios are needed.
• Interested in case study
• Possible candidates for PAG, travel costs ??.
