Always! Always show the process of creating the
artwork.
Half the fun of viewing student art work in the
hallways is knowing who did it. It is a good
idea to have pictures and /or written
descriptions next to each piece of art!
3
Make sure to take pictures of all exhibits around
school.
4
Art Show at Fairfield Commons
5
A Show at Framart Gallery
A local gallery sponsored an art show just for
our students. They hung the show and advertised
for it. The students were amazed to see their
art hanging in a real art gallery and frame shop!
6
Fairfield Library
Our senior students participate in the summer
reading program at Fairfield Library. They
prepare the bulletin board for the younger
children to hang their own artwork. Each year
there is a new and exciting learning theme to
keep children coming back all summer!
7
Art subjects can range from sports to history and
go anywhere in between.
This is part of the beauty and versatility of
being part of an art class at Highland Springs
High School!

Take a look at this!
Well, if you want the walk-through, check out
this video and the getting-started stuff
here. Think of Jing as a supplement to all your
chat discussions, email threads, forum posts and
blog entries. It sits nicely on your desktop,
ready to capture and share your stuff at a
moments notice. Simply select an area of your
screen, capture it as an image or record it as a
video, and then click Share. Jing conveniently
places a URL to your content on your clipboard
ready for you to paste the URL into any of your
conversations.

What can I do with this Jing?
  • Jing can work to record instructions and
screencasts for Computer Art lessons, but it can
also record your voice to be uploaded to a
    webpage with a student artwork.
  • This can allow you to have student work and
student commentary on your page in a more dynamic
    and personal way.

10
Is Jing free?
  • How much is it and how long can I use it?
  • For now, Jing is a free program to download, as
they are still working on the concept and putting
feelers out for its popularity and usage. They
have promised to allow enough warning that your
information can be saved before they will being
    charging for this product.

Mac) with at least a gig of RAM. Your mileage may
    vary

What could this do with exhibiting artwork?
