Carthage

• The story of Elissa (Dido) and the founding of
  Carthage.

The Fall of Carthage

• Carthage fell to the Romans in 146 B.C.
• It was said that the Romans pulled the Phoenician
  warships out into the harbour and burned them.
  They then went from house to house, capturing and
  enslaving the people. The city was burned to the
  ground.
