Newton is born
  • Isaac Newton is said to be born on two
different days. The first date was December 25,
1642. This date was found in two sources. The
other date was January 4, 1643.
  • This shows that they didnt record dates that
much back in the early ages when Newton was
    around.

3
Newtons Early Life
  • Newton was born prematurely.
  • His father was dead before he was even alive.
  • At the age of twelve after normal schooling he
was sent to finer schooling at the Kings School
Grantham. He stayed their for four years and then
    returned home in 1656.

4
Newtons Early Adult Life
  • After a five year stay at home, Isaac Newton
    entered Trinity College in 1661.
  • In 1663 he failed a scholarship exam because he
    didnt understand geometry.
  • After college Newton invented the type of math we
    call calculus.

5

Newtons Accomplishments
  • Newton went home in 1665 and this is when some
    brilliant discoveries happened.
  • While home he made principles of his theory of
gravitation. The main principle was that every
particle of matter attracts every other particle.
  • In 1665 he worked out calculus completely.

6

Newtons Laws of Motion
  • Newtons First Law of Motion Every object in a
state of uniform motion tends to remain in that
state of motion unless an external force is
    applied to it.
  • Newtons Second Law of Motion The relationship
between an objects mass m, its acceleration a,
and the applied force F is F ma. Acceleration
and force are vectors (as indicated by their
symbols being displayed in slant bold font) in
this law the direction of the force vector is the
same as the directions of acceleration vector.

7

Newton's Third Law of Motion
  • For every action there is an equal and opposite
    reaction.

8

Two Questions I would Ask Isaac Newton
  • I would ask Isaac if he ever wanted to accomplish
    more than he did?
  • I would also ask if there can be any more laws of
    motion?

9

Three Words to Describe Isaac
  • Brilliance
  • Perseverance
  • Tireless worker

10

Typical Day
  • Isaac would wake up very early and not get much
sleep because he always had work on his mind.
  • When he went home and came up with most of his
ideas he was loving on a farm so he would have to
    tend the farm.
  • He would take food breaks only when he had time
to stop. And he would stay up endless hours into
    the night.

11

Any Regrets?
  • I dont think if I were Isaac Newton I would have
any regrets. But he had high expectations so for
him he may have not accomplished as much as he
    would have liked to.

12

Contribution to Humanity
  • Isaac would probably say that his Three Laws of
Motion were he biggest contribution to humanity
