Renew Biocare RBS Process
RBS surface 2000x
  • The Renew Biocare RBS Process bigins with a
    traditional machined implant fixture.
  • The implant is then basted with calcium phosphate
    ceramic.
  • After blasting, the implant is passivated (in
    accordancd with established standards,
  • (ASTM F-86) to completely remove residiual
    media.
  • This passivation is not an acid-etch procedure
    and does not affect fatique strenght
  • of the implant by attacking the titanium.
  • RBS media has the added benefit of a
    biocompatible material that is easily removed
  • from the surface during the passivation
    process.
