When the SJ X 2000 high speed trains were
introduced in 1990 travelling by train in Sweden
became both more comfortable and much faster. In

- Bookings in the SJ trains for the summer period
(June 18th - August 20th 2006) will be possible
from April 26th, day trains and seats in the
night trains will then be available up to 90 days
before departure. - The SJ night trains (couchettes and sleepers)
will be opened up for booking for the whole
summer period on April 26th. - Bookings for the autumn from August 21st will be
possible from June 21st. - Final time tables will be available via
www.resplus.se from beginning of May, preliminary
time tables will be found at www.resplus.se/forhan

- The trains Gothenburg-Oslo are run by NSB - no
longer by SJ. NSB pricing and discounts are
valid! NSB is responsible for ITX fares etc. - There are three daily trains between
Gothenburg-Oslo and vice versa (two in the
weekends) - The trains are the Norwegian BM73 units
- Only 2nd class, however possibility to reserve
seats in the Comfort class (complimenary
coffee/tea, newspapers)
