  to remember his holy covenant The oath which he

  unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand

  everlasting promises required salvation from
  their nature before they could receive them
• Both resurrection from the dead and salvation
  from their nature were required
• Until then they could not receive the promises!

Failure of the Covenant

• It couldnt bring them everlasting life
• For it is not possible that the blood of bulls
  and of goats should take away sins.(Hebrews

• They couldnt keep it
• Not according to the covenant that I made with
  their fathers in the day that I took them by the

  which my covenant they brake, although I was an
