Text Boxes
  • On the standard toolbar, go to Insert Text
    Box
  • or
  • Use the Insert Text Box tool on the drawing
    toolbar
  • Position the crosshairs cursor where you want
    your textbox
  • Click and drag the cursor to the size box you
    wish
  • Choose your font style, size, and color by going
    to Format Font
  • Begin typing

Word Art
  • On the standard toolbar, go to Insert
    Picture WordArt or
  • Use the Insert WordArt tool on the drawing
    toolbar
  • Choose the style you like and begin typing
  • Click OK when you are finished
  • You may resize and position your WordArt by
    clicking and dragging the arrows

Auto Shapes
  • On the drawing toolbar, click on AutoShapes and
    choose the style you wish to use or
  • Select the AutoShape tools on the drawing toolbar
  • You may resize and position your shape by
    clicking and dragging the arrows
  • Go to Format AutoShape to format your
    shape

Lines Arrows
  • On the drawing toolbar, select the line or arrow
    tool
  • Click and drag the crosshairs cursor where you
    would like your line or arrow to begin and end
  • Go to Format AutoShape to format your
    line or arrow

Insert Clip Art
  • Go to Insert Picture ClipArt
  • Choose a picture you would like and press Insert
  • You may resize and position your picture by
    clicking and dragging the arrows

Insert Graphics
  • Go to Insert Picture
  • From File
  • Place your floppy disk in the A drive and select
    your picture
  • You may resize and position your picture by
    clicking and dragging the arrows

Grouping
  • Click on an object or text box you would like
    grouped
  • While holding the shift button down, click on
    another object
  • Continue until you have selected all of the items
    you wish grouped
  • On the drawing toolbar, click on Draw
    Group
  • Your objects will now move together
