The Toolbars
  • Choose to view toolbars to maximize shortcuts
  • A ? indicates a toolbar is open

Text Formatting
  • Formatting toolbar formats
  • Style
  • Font
  • Size
  • Bold, Italic, Underline
  • Justification
  • Bullets/numbered lists
  • Indent
  • Font color
  • All from one little box!

Creating Labels
  • Create a new blank document Choose Labels from
    the Tools menu.
  • Open Data Merge Manager from the Tools menu.
    This is from where you will do most of your work
    from.
  • From the Data Merge Manager, choose
    CreateLabels.
  • Choose you label type and click OK.

  • Now we need data (addresses)! Choose Get Data-
    New Data Source.
  • Choose the fields you would like to use in your
    labels. When you are done, you can enter the
    data and arrange your fields on you labels
  • You can now preview your labels and print!

Inserting Images
  • To Insert an image, use the insert menu or the
    toolbar.

As you can see, you can insert images from clip
art, a file, or other types of images. All these
options are available from the menu and the
toolbar.

Inserting Tables
  • You can insert a table from the table menu or
    from the toolbar icon.

Once you insert a table, you will be asked to
determine the number of rows and columns for your
table.
Table properties can be edited from the
table/borders toolbar.

Hyperlinks
  • Hyperlinks will create interactive text.
  • Linked text can take you to
  • websites
  • Other documents
  • Bookmarks within you document

Creating Hyperlinks
  • To create a hyperlink, highlight the text you
    wish to make a link
  • Choose hyperlink from the Insert menu or use the
    hyperlink button on the toolbar.

  • Next, simply determine where you want your
    hyperlink to take a user when it is clicked.

  • Practice using the toolbars to increase number of
    shortcuts available to you
