  • All middle school students read the equivalent of
    8 books in English.

    least 3 times each week.

Reading and Writing Requirements

30 Minute Reading Block
  • Teachers of all content areas participate.
  • Before, during and after reading strategies and
    skills taught in the 30 minute block and
    practiced throughout the day.
  • Note This block is in addition to the
    regular English class.

  • 6-8 delivered via the Net
  • Pre-testing determines students abilities.
