- This podcast is designed to give you step-by-step
instructions for accessing utilizing the
Exhibitor Toolkit
2Logging In
- When you arrive at the toolkit page you will see
something similar to the image below. - Note that you will need Internet Explorer to
navigate the site. You can download it for free
by clicking here, or the link on the login
screen. - To log in, you will need your customer number and
password. These can be found either on the email
that you received from your Directory Specialist
or on your invoice. Your customer number is
located in the lower right hand corner of your
invoice and your password is the first five
digits of your postal code. - Note if you live in an area that doesnt use
postal codes, your password will be 99999.

3Post Logon
- Upon logging in, you may encounter a page similar
to the one below. - On this page you will find important information
related to your event such as deadlines, expanded
listings (if applicable), reminders and how to
save your listing once you have edited and
checked the box marked Information Approved. - You can proceed either by clicking the Continue
to Toolkit button or by selecting any of the
choices in the left navigation.
Click here to continue to the toolkit and update
your listing.
4Once Youre Logged In
- If you have participated in this event within the
past two years, your company listing information
will appear as you last updated online. - Please look over your details.
- You will see fields similar to the ones to the
right. - If you do not need to make any changes to your
listing simply click the edit button in the
Company Details header. Next, click the box that
says Information Approved and click the Save
button (see next slide).
Click here to edit and/or approve your listing.
5Editing Company Details
- Clicking on the Edit button will bring you to
this page. - Here you can change the way your company name is
displayed and your contact information, such as
address and phone number. - Dont forget to click the save button!

6Show Specials
Enter your Show Special here.
- Many Shows allow exhibitors to input a Show
Special that will appear in the printed directory
and online. - This area is for listing Show Specials, such as
discounts on orders placed at the Show or
giveaways for visiting your booth. - In most cases, you will need to keep your Show
Special description to 150 characters or less.
7Company Description
- Most shows offer a web description, a description
in the printed directory or both. - To enter or update an existing description, click
on the Edit button in the Company Description
header. - Most Shows have a character limit. In some cases,
you may purchase additional characters according
to a predetermined pricing scheme. - Note that there is a character counter to the
right of the box where you input your description
to help you keep track of the length of your
listing. - Note If your event offers expanded listings,
the counter will turn red once you have exceeded
the complimentary character limit. If your event
does not offer expanded listings the character
counter will not change color, but you will not
be able to save your listing. - You can also create your description in a Word
document or similar format and copy and paste the
text from your document into the text box. Please
note that only plain text will be displayed.

- You may also be able to add items and features
such as - Product Categories
- Product Gallery
- Product Brochure
- Press Release
- Company Logo
- If these features are activated for your event,
they will automatically appear when you log into
the toolkit. If not, you may still be able to
take advantage of these features. Contact your
sales representative for more information.

Categories
Category Limit
- You can add product categories to your listing to
make it easier for your customers to find you. - There is typically a large range of categories to
choose from. - You will be allowed to choose between 5 and 15
categories depending on the Show. - Note The limit for your show will be displayed
at the top of the page.

Gallery
Click here to browse for image file.
- To add a product to the gallery, click on the
Add button in the New Product Gallery header. - You will be asked to enter information such as
the product name, price and a description. - You can also upload an image of your product. Do
so by clicking the icons to the right of the
boxes that say Thumbnail Image and Product
Image. You may use the same image file for
both. - Acceptable file types are .jpgs under 500 kb.
Please submit RGB files. Files uploaded as CMYK
will not be accepted. - If the Product Gallery is also going to be
printed in the directory, you will be prompted at
this time to send a high resolution copy of your
image to a designated representative from your
show team.

Brochure
- The Product Brochure feature allows you to upload
a company brochure to the website. - Only PDF files under 5 MB are accepted for
upload.

Release
Click either of these buttons to save
- If your company has a Press Release that you
would like to appear on your online listing, you
may enter it here. - Copy and paste your Press Release from a Word
document or similar format. - You will notice that there are fields for the
Article Date, the Article Title, Contact Name and
the Article Text. - You may also upload an image. Your image should
adhere to the same standards as your New Product
Gallery entry. Click the picture next to the
Image field to browse and select your image. - Remember to click the Save button after you
have entered all of your information.

Logo
- Some events allow you to upload your company logo
to your website directory listing for a small
fee. - Before uploading, make sure that your logo is no
larger than 5 KB and that it is a .jpg file. - When naming your logo, please refrain from using
any special characters, numbers or spaces. For
example directoriespodcast.jpg is a suitable
file name directories_podcast 1.jpg is not. - Click on the image next to the Logo field to
browse for your image. Select your image and
click Save.
