The PowerPoint part of my lesson would be Large
molecule transport across the cell
membrane. (Keep in mind that this is only part
of what I would teach during that lesson.)
2First decide how the content will be separated
and sequenced.Make, arrange, and note the
content of each slide (the boxes). Tip Use the
blue and green boxes in Inspiration because they
are set up to receive numbers. This content will
require 10 PowerPoint slides.
Box the content first with brief notes for the
content for that slide.
3Next, number all the boxes (double-click in the
blue area). It isnt important in which
direction you number.
Number all the boxes second.
4Use the links icon in Inspiration to connect the
boxes in the directions you envision. Watch out
for dead ends. The end of one branch needs a link
to reach the others.
Third, put in the directional links.
5Now you know 1) how many slides, 2) what goes
on them, 3) where they need to link to.
Check for dead ends where you dont want them.
Do a reality check. Will it work the way you
intend?
6Thats the end of the Inspiration
planning.(Except for the export as Web page with
a single diagram) Doing this plan makes building
the branching PowerPoint easy and quick. Next
see the section on making the slides.
