Title: The Branching PowerPoint Part 2
1The Branching PowerPointPart 2
AFTER the Inspiration plan is complete.
The PowerPoint part of my lesson would be Large
molecule transport across the cell
membrane. (Keep in mind that this is only part
of what I would teach during that lesson.)
2After the Inspiration plan This PowerPoint
section shows how the completed and numbered
Inspiration plan works to guide the creation the
PowerPoint slides.
3Look at your numbered chart, and you make slide
1 with your placeholder text.
This would be my slide prompt for me to ask the
class a divergent question What do cells need to
live? We would end up talking about molecule
transport across the cell membrane.
4(Small molecules get across by a variety of
ways.) This PowerPoint is about large molecule
transport.
Large Molecule Transport
Now your numbered chart tells you what
placeholder text goes onto PowerPoint slide 2
5Speed Tips 1. Make ALL the slides before you
start to link them. 2. Follow the numbered
Inspiration Plan EXACTLY. 3. Its okay at this
point if the order of information looks weird
this is not going to be a 1-2-3-4- linear
sequence of slides. 4. Just use the minimal
place-holder text for that slide. 5. You can add
the rest of the text, graphics, any animation
AFTER the links are made (Part 3)
6Next LINKING the slides
- Anything can be a hotlink
- A graphic (picture)
- A shape
- A text box
- A Line of text
Dont forget about the great explanationsin the
PowerPoint Help Menus!
7To see the linking processes and the commands and
dialog boxes that you need for Step 3, please

page.
