2Preparing to build the back porch early on a
Saturday morning.
3Digging holes for posts wheelchair ramp and
additional porch support. The ground is VERY
rocky old riverbed this is a task that we
tackled with shovels and pick-ax.
4Pressure treated 2 x 12 attached to the outside
wall with the same system used for laminated
beams inside. Note the U bracket with 6 screws
that go back to a flange that is embedded in the
concrete core.
