Nelson Mandela was imprisoned because he loved
his work.A little too much thought the
whites.They started to get afraid of his
power.After 27 years in jail,Nelson Mandela
walked free.But the fun wasnt over.He soon
became President of South Africa.Thats why he
became famous.

Nelson Mandela is a fighter for equal rights
between all races.During a partite (the
separation of whites and blacks)he fought for
peace.His birth name is Rholilahla which was
later changed to Nelson.At the age of 9,his
father died.After learning law,he decided to open
a law office.This was the first black law
office.South Africa was happy. Nelson did his
best to help everyone who came in to his
office.Mandela was perfect for their needs.But
the tables were about to turn,as you will soon
see.
