Steps Towards a Joint Degree

• Check National Legislation of partners
• Institutional engagement signed agreement
  amongst the partners
• Agreement on Diploma content
• Consult with National representatives
• Inform National representatives
• ENIC and NARIC

Institutional engagement

• Signed agreement amongst the partner Universities
  legal representatives
• Students completing the full programme obtain a
  joint degree awarded by the Universities where
  they studied (two or three).
• The Diploma is issued by the institution where
  the student completed their degree
• Signed at institutions where student carried out
  part of the programme

Agreement on Diploma

• Language the document is in the National
  language on one side and English on the other
  side (to facilitate International recognition).
• Names of the Universities the original names of
  the Universities are given as well as their
  ERASMUS codes.
• Name of Student the full name of the student is
  given.
• Name of Degree the degree is European Joint
  Masters in Water and Coastal Management.
• Duration and Dates of Studies academic years, 18
  months.
• Total number of ECTS 90ECTS
• Signatures and date of award the document is
  signed by the institutional representatives (This
  may be Rector, Vice-Rector, Chancellor)
• Logos Erasmus Mundus and all the partners
