Jerónimos monastery
  • It is in Belem, Lisbon, near Tagus river. It is
    the highest point of Manueline architecture and
    the most remarkable set of the sixteenth century
    monastery in Portugal and one of the greatest
    churches-hall in Europe.

Tower of Belem
  • It is situated on the right bank of the River
    Tagus, where there once existed a beach.

University of Coimbra
  • Situated in the highest region of Coimbra, it
    began to be built in the thirteenth century.
  • There we can visit the Library of the University
    and the Museum of Sacred Art.
  • It is a sample of the Gothic styles, Manueline,
    Renaissance, Maneirista, Baroque, Pombalino
    and Neoclassical.

  • It is situated in the City of Praia do Ribatejo,
    County of Vila Nova da Barquinha, District of
    Santarém, in Portugal. It was built 18m above the
    water level. It is one of the most representative
    examples of military architecture of the time.

  • The Castle of Guimarães is in Guimarães, the city
    where the foundation of the Portucalense County
    took place and it also represents the
    independence of Portugal. It was recently elected
    as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.

    town of Portugal. It represents one of the best
    examples of architectural Romanticism. It was
    elected as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal.

  • It is situated in Évora, most commonly called
    Dianas temple. It was built in the beginning of
    the century I. Studies showed it was a sanctuary
    devoted to the emperor.

    the former cities in Portugal.

  • Its a religious sanctuary situated in Braga, in
    the North of Portugal. There one can find a big

    monuments in OPorto. It was built between 1731
    and 1763.

    the time of the Roman Invasion of the Iberian
    Peninsula was situated in the main city of
    Conventus Scallabitanus, Roman province of
    Lusitania.

  • It was the first ghotic monument built in
    Portugal( 1178). It is considered World Heritage
    by UNESCO.

    woods around it.
