  this prediction could be coming true.

• All passport photos will bedigitised and stored
  electronically.
• As passports are updated every 10 years, special
  aging software can be used to automatically age
  your photograph.

Future Developments

• Facial Recognition CCTV
• Measures the distance between eyes, nose, mouth,
  etc. to determine identity.
• Coupled with the electronic database of faces
  this could help law enforcement agencies
  determine the identity of criminals more quickly
  and easily.
• Already in use at Manchester City football ground
  to recognise known hooligans.

Biometric Passports / ID Cards

• Contain unique biological information, e.g.
  retina, fingerprint, facial scan.
• Difficult to fake.
• Expensive to implement.
• Doubts over 100 positive identification.
