• Video or Sound a simple Hyperlink to a file is
  sufficient, and will cause the fewest problems.
• FrontPages built-in menu options should be
  avoided!
• How to make it work quickly
• Assume youve got as much bandwidth as youre
  going to get.
• Traffic the larger the file the slower your site
  is, and the slower everyone elses is as well!

• Paint Shop Pro (my vote!)
• Adobe PhotoShop (good, but hard and expensive)
• Microsoft Image Composer (good, but not many
  hands-on controls of file size)
• Microsoft Photo Editor (few controls of any kind)
• Microsoft PhotoDraw (awful! Really! Trust me!)
• Microsoft Paint (must convert format)

• Bitmap (.bmp)
• Large! Dont use on the web!
• GIF (.gif)
• Low client impact
• Use for solid colors and simple designs icons,
  banners, script images, etc.
• Create directly in your software dont start
  with a scan or digital photograph
• JPEG (.jpg)
• Requires processing at client end slower and
  larger for simple images
• Best for photographs and scanned images with lots
  of colors
