243 LEVELS OF UTILITY
- Level 1 Vessel Manager can review terminals
- prior to vessels call
Level 2 Owners can review and follow up on any
problems individually with his terminal
counterparts
Level 3 The Intertanko Vetting Committee can be
tasked to follow up with any problem terminals
not responding to Owners observations
25- TO DATE WE HAVE RECEIVED OVER 7200 REPORTS
- INDUCED AT LEAST TWO TERMINALS TO MAKE EXTENSIVE
IMPROVEMENTS - STARTED CONSTRUCTIVE DIALOGUES WITH MANY OTHERS.
- STARTED A NEW JOINT VENTURE WITH B.P.
26- BP is closely cooperating with INTERTANKO on this
project -
- BP has amended its own terminal feedback report
form to include the information required by
INTERTANKO. - BP has created an automated system so that a BP
terminal report can be input directly to the
INTERTANKO database. - INTERTANKO is supplying feedback to BP on
terminals that are reported with a low score. - BP and INTERTANKO then work together to address
safety concerns at these terminals.
27- BUT THERE IS MUCH MORE TO DO !!!
-
- We need more direct inputting from each Company
- We need to streamline data entry procedures
- We need to keep building our database volume
- We need to keep marketing the product
- We are encouraging other Oil Companies to sign
up.
