What Stewardship Contracting Is

• To achieve land management goals that meet local
  and rural community needs.
• Road or trail maintenance or obliteration for
  water quality
• Soil, wildlife, fisheries, or other resource
  value enhancement
• Prescribed fire to improve ecosystem health
• Vegetation removal to improve ecosystem health
• Watershed restoration and maintenance
• Fish and wildlife restoration and maintenance
• Control noxious and exotic weeds / re-establish
  native plants
