• Are one of the most dangerous snow storms.
• A severe blizzard is considered to have
  temperatures near or below 10of.
• With winds exceeding45mph,and visibility reduced
  by snow to near zero.

Blizzards

• Storm systems that are powerful enough to cause
  blizzards usually form when the jet stream dips
  far to the south.
• The word blizzard is a North American name for a
  violent bitterly cold wind accompanied by blowing
  snow whipped up from the ground.
• Most blizzards occur in a cold wave that follows
  the passage of a cold front in a mid-latitude
  cyclonic storm.

  your way with strong winds and cold weather
  following.
• Blizzards come roaring in on a wave of frigid
  artic air,and bring snow, and low temperatures.
• These severe storms last three or more hours.
