Character Description
  • Bud is the main Character of Bud, Not Buddy.
Bud is a African American little boy. He is a
little Shy. Bud is skinny. Bud was very brave to
run away from the Home. Bud is Herman E.
    Calloways grandson.
  • Herman E. Calloway has a good part of the
story. He is also African American. Herman is
smart, but grouchy. He is Buds granddad. At the
end of the story, Herman gets nicer.
  • Lefty Lewis also has a good part in the story.
Lewis is African American. Is the most nicest
person I read about. Lewis, one day, found Bud
