• A male Tasmanian Devil weighs up to 9 to 12kg
• A female Tasmanian Devil weighs up to 5 to 8kg
• Has up to 42 teeth altogether
• live in forest woodlands only in Tasmania
• Large powerful build

Why is a Tasmanian Devil Endangered?

• Farmers believed they ate large numbers of
  livestock and poultry
• Often hit by cars as they fed on road-killed
  animals
• Arrival of the dingo competition for food
