International Marine Awareness Course

• Developed by ProSea in the Netherlands
• Aimed at Ships Officers, Cadets, Government
  Officials, NGOs etc.
• Covers all environmental impacts of shipping
• Long term goal IMO accreditation

International marine Awareness Courses

• Around 70 participants per course
• Courses are based on a mixture of lectures and
  group participation
• Small group meetings with experts from each field

Possible Future Work

• Major Incident Response Course for Local
  Authorities
• Aim at those within the authority that other
  national courses miss
• Develop into a international accredited course
  and run several pilot courses
