What are senses?

• We all have five senses
• Smell
• Hear
• Taste
• Touch
• See
• Almost all of us have these five senses

Smell

• Smell uses your nose
• You can smell both things that smell good and
  things that smell bad
• We can smell food, perfume, and flowers

Hear

• We use our ears to hear
• We hear things that are loud and quiet.
• We hear things that make noises
• We can hear people talking, music, or a car
  driving by

Taste

• We use our mouth to taste
• We can taste all kinds of things by putting them
  in our mouths.
• We can taste apples, cake, or juice

Touch

• We use our hands and fingers to touch
• We can touch all kind of things, all that can be
  different shapes and sizes
• We can touch our toys, a book, a chair, or the
  cold snow

See

• We use our eyes to see
• We can see anything that is around us
• We can see trees, houses, people, and watch TV
