• Connect the receiver/hub to the computer via USB
  cable.
• One receiver can be attached currently for a
  system capacity of 2,000 clickers.
• Computer sets up Hub to broadcast proper class
  information (Class ID, Class String, Test Type)

Remotes Join and provide
Student IDs entered by Student and sent to
Receiver for collection.
Remotes will go to SLEEP to conserve power, any
button press wakes them up. Sleep timer is user
definable.

Sign on Process (First Time)

• Turn on Clicker
• Battery symbol displayed
• Stop scan by hitting on the keypad
• Hit again which takes you to the Setup Menu
• Scroll Up to ID
• Hit Send/Enter key (green button)
• Type ID number your 8 digit SPIRE ID number
• Hit Send/Enter
• Hit to exit Setup Menu
• ID now stored in the unit
• Can now rescan by selecting New Class Scan, or by
  turning unit off and on.

Joining a class once ID is entered

• Students simply turn on units and either
• Wait for a class to appear and select it HOW?
• Or Jump to the channel that the unit is on by
  looking at the screen and seeing the letter or
  number lt ? gt associated with this class
• Students can join the class at any point after
  the class is started.
• Instructor has the option of creating a roster
  with all student IDs for people who participated.
