Knowledge - Networking Nirvana is SRAs online professional
collaboration and networking community and home
to the Body of Knowledge. BoK is a topical index
to discussions, information, articles, resources
and links essential to successful research
management on all levels. Content is contributed
by research administrators from around the world
to this comprehensive "living library.
Access to Research Findings on Important Issues
SRA frequently conducts research on issues of
importance to research administrators such as
surveys on salary and benefits and the impact of
the economic downturn on the field.
9- Leadership and Organizational Structure
- International Officers SRAs International
Officers are elected by the membership to help
lead the Society. The officers consist of
President, President-Elect, Past-President,
Treasurer and Secretary. -
- Board of Directors The BOD consists of the
international officers as well as six at-large
members who are elected by the membership. - Sections and Chapters SRA International
consists of five regional sections and a growing
number of chapters. Officers are elected by the
membership. - Professional Divisions SRA is also organized
into four professional divisions, which serve the
needs of the various interest groups within SRAs
diverse membership. Division officers are elected
by their membership. - Executive Office Staff The leadership and the
members at large are served by a dedicated,
professional, meetings and nonprofit management
staff. -
10Volunteer Leadership
SRA International is governed by a Board of
Directors who generously donate their time for
the betterment of the Society. In addition,
volunteer committee chairs and Chapter, Sections
and Division and Division officers support the
Board in meeting the mission of the Society.

programmatic activities of the Society meet their
