Photoshop Final Exam
There are 15 slides. You must complete this first
slide, slides 2, 11 and 14. You can then choose
any 4 from the remaining 11.
Insert your AlterEgo somewhere on this slide.
  • Create an animation of your name and make sure it
    has the following
  • Text tools, not painted
  • at least three colors (one layer can be white,
    the next one red, etc.)
  • at least one filter effect
  • a transparent (see through) background
  • And moves around (up/down, left/right, etc.)

1. What file format is this picture? 2. How many

Hint Copy and paste (New from Clipboard) both
images into Photoshop, first!
Crop, add a filter effect, and place Superman
into the background below using Photoshop
Elements. Then, add a title to your new picture.
Finally, save your new image as a .jpeg. Make
your new image the background of this slide.
After you have finished, write a step-by-step
instruction manual in the Click to add notes
section so that others can replicate what you did
to superman.

Below you is a lifeless earth. When finished,
the earth will be a 3D orb rotating on its axis.
Be careful, the images of earth below are not in
any particular order. Your finished picture will
be spinning from west to east continuously
(loop). Make sure the space surrounding Earth
(the atmosphere) is transparent (see through).
After animating Earth, choose one of the 4 other
objects to animate

Alter the rifle (change it into something else)
so that it is school appropriate.

favorite animations that you have created so far
in this class.

  • Decide which four articles of clothing you will
    dress up Mr. Snowman.
  • Color each of those articles of clothing with at
    least 2 different colors
  • Crop all articles that you will be using and
    dress up Mr. Snowman.
  • Save your final, entirely cropped Mr. Snowman as
    a .gif and place him on this slide.

Graphics Terms and Files
Using your notes and your experiences, type the
meaning of each term.

Merge Spidey with the background below to make
him appear falling (and getting smaller) as he
reaches the ground. Must be at least 10 layers.
OK to add other effects (as long as he is still
falling). I cant remember if I made Spidey
transparent or not. He better be Hint Make
sure you duplicate the background for every
spidey alteration

  • Create a CD cover for an imaginary band!
  • Include the following
  • At least 2, but no more than 5, images from the
    web. All must be filtered, or have some effect
    using photoshop, AND have NO edges.
  • A made up album title using the text tools in
    photoshop and at least one effect.
  • A background design created or altered with
    photoshop.
  • The name of the artist (your name has to appear
    somewhere) using photoshop with at least 2 shadow
    effects.
  • Save your album cover as a .jpeg and Insert it
    into PPT (on top of this slide!)

No WordArt or other PPT effects allowed!

Growth Over TimeShow a plant (tree, flower)
growing and show a change in time (daytime to
nighttime or from one season to the next).
  • Sun/Moon movement
  • Minimum of 5 different colors
  • Random insect/bird appearance
  • No images from the web! All images must be
    created in Photoshop.
  • At least 20 layers in length
  • Your name has to appear somewhere in your
    animation
  • Extra credit Shadow movement

Create a ghost writer animation that spells out,
letter-by-letter, the phrase The End. The
catch is that you must say it in a language other
than English, French, or Spanish. You must paint
the letters DO NOT use the text tool. Oh yea.
Make sure it is transparent.
