WASUP with WASAT?

• The Water Sanitation Advisory Team is a
  collaboration between the District 5150 Water and
  Sanitation Subcommittee and Engineers Without
  Borders SF Professionals Chapter
• We are technical professionals with more than 150
  years experience in planning and implementing
  water and sanitation programs
• Our goal is to guide and advise your Rotary clubs
  in planning your water/sanitation projects
• We assist the District Grants Committee by
  reviewing project applications before they are
  approved for District Designated Funding

We support Rotarians and Rotary Clubs as they
plan and implement safe water and sanitation
projects as a means of decreasing water-borne
diseases and infant mortality in developing
communities

• COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP leadership, participation,

• 1 spent for sustainable projects 7 in value
  returned to support a healthy community
• 1 spent on sustainable projects 34 in value
  returned towards a sustainable community
• Yet public and private millions have been spent
  with only about 50 of water projects still
  functioning five years later
