• SC News welcomes any article that describes news
  related to SC programmes, or of activities that
  may be of interest to readers who have SC
  affiliations.
• Authors are responsible for the articles
• The text of articles accepted in good faith will
  not be changed without the knowledge of the
  submitting author.
• If incorrect text is published, it is the
  submitting author's responsibility to call this
  to the attention of the newsletter team. The team
  will issue a correction in the next issue.
• In all the cases the Responsible Editor holds
  the right for final decision.
• Preferred word count for articles is 350 words,
  maximum.
• Submit articles in simple English.
• Articles should be submitted as Microsoft Word
  documents.
• Photos should be in JPEG or any common format.
• The editorial team reserves the right to scale
  photos for appropriate size.
• Please clearly identify all people in photos.

• An infrastructure based on partnership and
  collaborations, governed by a cross- sectional
  group that is responsible for safety promotion in
  their community
• Long-term, sustainable programs covering both
  genders and all ages, environments, and
  situations
• Programs that target high-risk groups and
  environments, and programs that promote safety
  for vulnerable groups
• Programs that document the frequency and causes
  of injuries
• Evaluation measures to assess their programs,
  processes and the effects of change
• Ongoing participation in national and
  international Safe Communities networks.
