  Distribution (NAHAD) is an organization

  distributors whose mission is to promote a high
  standard of professionalism and integrity within

  training, in support of safe, reliable and

HOSE ASSEMBLY GUIDELINES EXAMS

• To assure that sales engineers and hose
  fabricators are up to date on the Hose
  Guidelines, NAHAD offers a series of on-line
  examinations, designed to test employees
  knowledge. These exams, for each of the five hose
  product groups, are managed and graded by a
  qualified third party, ensuring confidentiality
  and accuracy. A certificate is awarded upon
  successful completion of any of the exams.

• This on-line tool provides a step-by-step process
  to properly fabricate an Industrial Hose
  assembly. Utilizing a drill down process, the
  selection tool eliminates options that dont
  comply with the NAHAD Guidelines, providing
  detailed fabrication information.

• For instance, a petroleum hose is commonly
  assembled using Cam Groove couplings. Cam
  Groove couplings are commonly crimped on hose
  ends. In addition, detail on hose preparation
  (cutting and preparing the ground wire) is also
  listed.

  assembly as well. This allows the sales engineer
