1Computer Trouble Shooting
2Program Freeze
- If a program you are working in freezes and you
are unable to exit press the CtrlAltDelete keys
in that order. - This will bring up the Windows Task Manager
- Select the task you want to end
- Click on the End Task button.
3Black Monitor
- Check to see if the green light is on to signify
that the monitor and CPU have power. - If not press the monitor power button.
4Volume
5Connections
Check connections in back of computer to assure
that the power is attached firmly.
6Printer is not working
If you press the print button and the document
you are trying to print does not come out of the
printer, do not press print again until you check
the lights on the printer. If not, save your work
and report the error to your teacher.
7Printer Lights
There will be an indicator light that will tell
you if the printer is out of paper.
8Adding Paper
If your teacher allows you to add paper, pull out
the tray and place new paper in the tray.
9Internet is SLOW
- Click on stop and reload.
- Exit out of your browser and enter again.
- Try using a different site to see if the problem
is a high volume of users.
