planks. roofing felt was fastened on the topside,
with polystyrene sheets attached to the underside
to aid internal temperature control

Window frames built and attached. 200 mm
Rockwool insulation attached to the inside walls
with white-washed hardboard panels nailed
over. Metal supporting brackets added to
strengthen the cross members supporting the roof
sections. Electrics installed which include a
fluorescent light a normal light and 3 double
mains sockets. Carpet tiles laid. Guttering and
water butt installed. Furnishings installed
Freezer, Exercise Bicycle, Snooker table and
Shelf units.
Work surfaces installed over the freezer and
snooker table.
Later additions include a TV, hi-fi and wiring
for external
speakers. All finished just before Christmas
2000 ! All wood used (except floor and roof
boards) were bought pressure treated at a cost of
around 400. Other materials used brought the
total cost to around 1000
