• The larynx
• Glottalic pressure (egressive)
• Called ejectives
• Glottalic suction (ingressive)
• Called implosives

How to make it

• Close the glottis
• Hold your breath
• Suppress a sneeze
• Stop in the middle of a word like mitten
• Get up from a chair without using your arms
• Make a k-closure
• Raise your glottis
• Like youre singing a high note
• Release the k-closure

Other ways to try

• Hold your breath and try to make a k sound
  really loudly
• Exhale all your air and try to make a k sound
